This gorgeous boy came into rescue after spending 7 days in the Pound and no one coming forward for him. He went straight into a lovely foster home and has now been fully assessed ❤ Ghost is a lovely dog who is very easy going and takes everything in his stride. He is very independent and likes time to himself and will very happily play with his toys by himself and keep himself occupied. He is very picky with his food and doesn’t like certain treats. We have found his favourite treat is turmeric sausages. He ADORES his walks and will get very excited when you put your coat on and pick up his lead. He will hassle you for a walk though do he needs two decent sized walks or one really long walk per day to keep him quiet and relaxed. Once he’s had his two walks he will just sleep by the front door for the rest of the day. He has been to the pub and he is super chilled there and will sit or stand by you and say hello to everyone who walks by. He LOVES other dogs and just wants to say hi to all of them. He has been tested in the same house as other dogs and is very well behaved so he would be very happy in a home with another dog. He has also met cats out on a walk and seems very happy with cats and wants to play with them however we haven’t tested him inside the house with a cat. (Although the cats don’t tend to like him because of his size and they try to attack him.) When excited on a walk somewhere new he does have a tendency to pull but for his size the pulling is very manageable and if you stand still he will stop pulling and stand with you. When walking somewhere he knows he will walk to heel nicely. He does share the trait most Akita’s have of being very independent and aloof so although he is easy to look after as he just occupies himself, he is also not that bothered about a fuss. Ghost would really suit a home with another dog so that when left he isn’t completely alone and has someone to keep him company. He refuses to eat or drink when left alone (but will happily do so as soon as we are back) and will pace around the house whining. He will also howl very loudly intermittently. This will happen if you leave him for as little as 5 minutes or as long as 2 hours, he will have the same reaction. Therefore he will need a home with someone willing to work on this with him. Ghost will make someone very happy, he is such a lovely, sweet dog and wouldn’t hurt a fly. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him! He has been around a newborn and a 5 year old and has been fantastic with both, he is so gentle. He would make an amazing family dog. ❤️

3yr old Bear is an absolute cracker of a dog. ❤️ He's been in foster for just over a month. He has been assessed and now ready for a forever home. Bear has been groomed, and fully enjoyed the experience, the grooming ladies loved him and said he was very well behaved. He currently has dogs walkers going in to take him out 5 days a week while his foster Mum is at work. They all say he walks beautifully on his lead after the first few minutes of being out, and he is an absolute pleasure to walk. Bear enjoys going for walks and loves the praise he gets for being a good boy. He is vaccinated and should be neutered before being adopted, (or a neutering contract will be put in place with a vet appointment booked prior to adoption) 🥰 Please contact us if you are interested in meeting this handsome fella with a view to adopt 🥰 |
Miley Please meet Miley She’s a beautiful happy soul who found herself in kennels for over 4 months, due to her owners ill health. She came into foster with us to decompress before looking for a forever home, and she is doing great. Miley very friendly with humans and dogs, and she has also been introduced to a couple of young cats. She was curious, but fine meeting them in a calm manner. Miley is housetrained and ok to be left home alone. She enjoys going for walks and loves to please, so training for her is a doddle. Miley travels well and loves going out in the car. She is fully vaccinated, has no health concerns, but was in season when she came into rescue, so cannot be spayed for 3 months, She will go to her new home on a neutering contract. |

7 year old French Bulldog Beautiful Bella is a 7yr old Frenchie who is being rehomed due to her owner’s very ill health. Bella is a lovely playful girl who gets on well with other dogs, however due to being an ex puppy farm dog, she isn’t massively keen on puppies in her space. Bella ignores cats on walks, but has never lived with a cat, so we're unsure if cat friendly or not. She loves her toys, and loves to play tug. Bella walks well on the lead and is confident when out, but doesn't like walking in the rain. Bella is fine when left home alone, but if owners are home and leave her in another room she will sometimes whine to be with them. She loves company. She does sometimes bark to be let outside to go toilet. Bella comes from a calm and adult only home, however could suit a family with older calm children. Bella comes with some allergies which are managed by diet. She also takes a steroid tablet once a day and visits the vets once a month to have ear drops. Any potential new owner would need to be able to continue this treatment. |
Bella is a gorgeous Bull Breed picked up as a stray. Beautiful Bella is now ready for Her Forever "Retirement Home". We think Bella is approximately 10 years old. She us a mixed breed (exact mix unknown). She is a charming and gentle senior girl who is hoping to find a peaceful and loving home to spend her golden years. She still has loads of love to give and enjoys the simple pleasures of life. Bella thrives in a quiet environment and would do best in a home with a retired couple, or a home with older children who understand the importance of giving her space and respecting her needs. While Bella is okay with other dogs at a distance, she is looking for a dog and cat-free home where she can truly relax and enjoy her surroundings. She’s not interested in sharing her space with other animals and would love to be the centre of attention. Bella loves her food and is very food-motivated, treat time is her favourite time! She also enjoys her walks, but since she’s a senior lady, she prefers shorter, more frequent walks rather than long, strenuous ones. This will keep her happy and comfortable while giving her a chance to explore her neighbourhood. If you’re looking for a laid-back companion who enjoys a peaceful, predictable routine, Bella could be the perfect match for you. She has a heart full of love and would be so grateful for a quiet home where she can feel safe and cherished. If you're interested in giving Bella a forever home, please complete the adoption application on our website. She’s now ready to start the next chapter of her life with you |
