DOG RESCUE IN COVENTRY WEST MIDLANDS
Buddy is a gorgeous 24 week old puppy looking for a home. He is currently in foster. He has been fully assessed & taught basic commands whilst in rescue.
He came into rescue due to his previous owner having personal problems & no longer being able to care for him.
He's been neutered, flea treated, wormed, microchipped & fully vaccinated. All he needs now is a loving family who can show him what its like to be loved. He is currently living with cats & loves to play with them. He's a typical loving puppy who needs continuous training.
Buster is a gorgeous 2yr old Huskita (with Shepard markings). He came into rescue due to personal problems in his previous home, and his owner wanted to do what was best for him, sadly that is to rehome him. He was very much loved and cared for by his family and this stands out in his fantastic temperament. He has lived alongside young children since he was 8 weeks old. He is house trained and will also use a crate, but not for long periods of time. Since coming into rescue Buster has settled into his foster home really well. His foster Mum does doggie daycare and boarding so he has met quite a few new dogs, he even has a girlfriend already. He has met the horses in the paddock and had a run around with them - no problems at all. He is a fantastic dog and will be a fantastic addition to the lucky family who end up adopting him If you are interested in giving buster a forever loving home then please get in touch with us for an application form.
Thomas is a gorgeous patterdale terrier aged around 5yrs. He is neutered and soon to be vaccinated.
Thomas is a friendly little dog who loves walks and a fuss. He is ok with some dogs but not all. He needs on going training and working on trust. Thomas can be snappy with other dogs when around toys, food, and while getting a fuss again this is something that will need working on. He needs a confident owner who won't be put off by his "grumpy" side.
Thomas has a few trust issues with new people, but once he knows you he's pretty fine, he may initially show his wary side until trust is built. Thomas may be better suited being the only dog in the home, although he could live with another dog in the right home. No children under 12yrs old. Please get in touch for an application if you can give Thomas a foster or forever home.

Toby is a 6yr old Springer Spaniel coming into rescue due to a change of circumstances at home.
He knows all basic commands such as SIT, WAIT, STAY, DOWN, COME, HERE, WEE, & OUT,
Toby is fully house trained and can be left home alone without any problems.
He loves lots of attention and very long walks, also likes to go swimming in canals & reservoirs (never tried the sea). The more time spent with anyone the happier he is. He likes his bottom scratched/patted and likes being brushed, generally anything that makes him centre of attention.
Toby is also quite happy to take himself off & be left alone to look out of the window/lie in the garden or sleep.
He like being with someone & will curl up next to you if you’ll let him but will take himself away when he’s had enough. As a pup he lived with other dogs & cats but now he tries to chase the neighbor's cats but whether that's to play with them we are not sure.
Toby is microchipped and will be vaccinated and neutered before being rehomed.
If you can offer this lovely lad a foster home for further assessment please PM our page for an application form.
Winston is an 11 month old entire male Staffy Cross. (his Mum staffie & Dad Staffie cross Rottie).
He is coming into rescue because his Human Dad has took on new longer hours at work and his human Mum has a very young baby and 5 year old boy to look after. They no longer have the time to give Winston, the attention and exercise he needs as a young dog and they feel it's not fair on him as he is such a lovely boy. She wants to do the right thing by him and relinquish him to rescue where he will go into foster to get neutered and fully assessed for the right home.
Winston was assessed today and proved to be a gorgeous, loving, friendly little lad. He is crate and housetrained, loves going out, walks very well on a lead and loves to travel. He is great with children and has lived with a child from being a Pup.
He understands and follows basic commands and loves to please. He will be neutered before going to his forever home.
Toffee is such a sweet gentle little girl. We are still trying to figure out why she was never claimed from the pound. She loves to play ball and passes it back to you to throw for her and she loves little humans. She has been totally fantastic with the children in her foster home to the point of staying by their side for love and fuss and also to comfort them.
She is going to bring so much love to her forever family, and she will never end up in a pound ever again <3 xxx
''Katie is 9 years old seems to eat most thing. She can be left for small periods of time, although in foster care she had the company of other dogs.
She has this way of coming over with little sad eyes looking up at you all she wants is on your lap lives cuddles eyes always on you with tail going then flips on to her back belly rub time. :)
She takes control sorts the boys, and has settled in well with them. She is crate trained although she loves to be out having fun with everyone.
She would make a great companion someone who can give her all the attention she deserves! She has been great with other dogs, however she would also with great as an only dog.
Katie loves the ball and for an older lady she runs around leaves the boys standing, but if one of the boys happens to be closer to the ball she has no problem leaving it and returning without. All round a lovely girl who ever has her will be very lucky to have her in their family.''
- Katie's current foster dad
Ruby is a rough haired terrier aged approx 10yrs + She has been spayed, microchipped and flea treated and is up to date with her vaccinations. She is ok with travelling & not destructive in the home. Ruby has lived with other pets i.e. dogs (Gizmo - now adopted) & cats and was brought up with children all of her life. This is being treated now by her foster Mum, who has groomed her with medicated shampoo and daily conditioning tablet are being given to her. Ruby has come into rescue with Gizmo due to their owner being unable to take care of them because of a serious illness. She is now in foster with 3 other male dogs and loving it :-)
I caught you lookin’ ❤ How could you resist little old me? And the best bit… I can cuddle all day long. So if love is your drug - trust me, I’m the girl for you! I’m also an upwardly mobile pooch – if you have a car, I travel. I do so with such poise and elegance – I just know you will be impressed. Very cosmopolitan for a JRT, don’t you think? And as you would expect from a lady of my caliber, my training record is outstanding. I have brilliantly polished skills in travelling, crate and house training – I passed all with flying colours. I also excel in being left on my own for short periods without eating your house or tearing up the neighbourhood. I really am the height of excellence, and the catch of a lifetime. My social skills are highly evolved, and I get along nicely with other dog folks. Well, apart from the bigger ones, and I sometimes need to remind them who they are dealing with. Loudly. But I soon settle, and It is my only vice – oh, and I am a top lady, after all. I recently had pups, and not long after was spayed, so I am up to date with all my vet related stuff, and ready and waiting to move in. Clean bill of health. Just say the word – and my very own team will play cupid, and hey presto! I could be gracing your very own home in no time at all. And that… would make your life complete ❤
