Dogs that come to us here at Suki's are initially placed in a foster (temporary) home so that they can be fully assessed and given basic training, if needed. Once the dog is ready to be rehomed, we match them with a suitable potential Adopter.
During the period in foster care, we will pay for the dog's food and veterinary care, and will also provide bedding, toys and leads along with any other equipment which may be needed. Each dog in foster is assigned their own 'Key Worker' to assist with any issues, and our resident behaviourist will offer full support in the event of any training or behavioural issued.
Foster carers are an integral part of our work, and by working together with Suki's Crew, you can play your part in helping our dogs find their forever homes.
